Final Exam

                                               4. The photo I have taken on May 8th 2015
This is the photo I chose that best represented the improvement that I have seen in myself over the course of this school year because of the way it captures the true view of how pictures are supposed to appear as. With the even blend between the person and the background

5. The difference between shape and form is shape is a figure that is connected by lines but form comes from the lighting in the background, whether it is pitch black dark, or is extremely radiant in light

6. Pattern is a combination of different shapes and other objects that re-occur. Repetition
is one object or shape that is being repeated

7. This picture best represents movement  because the cars in the back can be easily interpreted as moving even though photos are always inanimate.

8. Of the last 3 projects, I believe the photo commercial was my best work

http://yuuchyhongroy.blogspot.com/2015/05/photo-commercial.html

Why is this my best work?
This is to be believed as my best work because it best portrays my role as a photographer. Another reason was because our group did the work on dividing as a team and that's what it's all about.

How did the project change me?
This project in particular changed me quite a bit. It changed the way I thought about photography and what working in a group can accomplish.

How did I learn to see differently?
This project in particular gave me a feel for photography and what it was meant to do/benefit for me

In the end, I had a great experience learning Digital Photography and I have learned many things that I didn't know was possible.

Striking a Pose

This would be a perfect representation of someone launching a missile.
But in this case, he's just removing his camera

Another Story 2.0

In my last story, three heroes..
Just kidding, it was about Sandwiches
Now to answer the question of what
A sandwich is two pieces of bread
With maybe some Chocolate spread
Maybe it is a exotic type of meat
To me, that sounds very neat
Multi-Cultural week sells these
But what else does one sell there
Which reminds me, Rice too
Lots of different kinds of Rice
Maybe the real question is
What does one define as Rice
Truth is, I know what a Sandwich is

This may be just our schoolyard but this is also where I ate my Sandwich last Tuesday

Personal Story

A variety of cultures
A variety of costs
It is all about the culture
It is all about the price
Another year goes by at High School
Nothing but overpriced products
Despite the taste of the food
In your head is it really that good
To be spending money on those you can make
Is the thought of a good decision fake
How does one create a sandwich
You must be thinking why make a sandwich
The true question to ask is what is a sandwich
Maybe in the end it is not about the culture

Shutter Speed and Everything After

1. I believe the picture displays a fast shutter speed
2. The Rule of Composition in this photo would be Balancing Elements because the different trucks have different distances away from each other but are focused in
3. The element of art in this picture would be "Forms"
4. The Principle of Design in this picture is "Balance"

Period 1 - Semester Final

1 and 2: My favorite picture from the September 23rd (14) lens slideshow is picture number 9.

For these reasons I had to pick number 9:

1. The nature on top is greatly emphasized, rather than the nature behind the Deer and Bird. This is what a truly amazing photographer can accomplish
2. This picture isn't a bland picture of a person doing a certain task, instead it displays a mysterious feeling that no ordinary picture could have
3. One of the rules of Photography is "Balancing Elements." In this picture, the bird sitting on the deer is the main focus, as well as some of the shrubbery on top. The picture clearly shows what part of the picture is in the spotlight.

3:                                                                                                     http://yuuchyhongroy.blogspot.com/

I would have to say my best work in this class would be my "Album Cover Remake" assignment. I decided this was my best work because I applied everything I learned from this class, and observing pictures in the morning every day. I also tried my best to add huge amounts of exposure to the picture, which was a single banana, which I have not done in previous assignments due to lack of knowledge for Photoshop. Despite the fact, that it was a single banana, it was much more than a single banana. I also managed to give the Banana that "Retro" feeling by adding color which therefore made it look almost the same as the album cover itself

4: My 3 rules of composition were Rule of Thirds, Depth of Field, and Background

5:

This is a picture of our Mission San Jose baseball field.
This picture illustrates Rule of Thirds and Depth of Field

6: Avoid the Middle
7: When you work in groups, there are many benefits. For example:

    1. When crossed with questions, your group can help you out with any needed information

    2. If I have no idea what to do, I can look around in my group and find out for myself what I am supposed to do.
     3. Working as a group lets me, as a person accomplish more because we can divide it evenly and get an entire project done in a efficient amount of time
4.I also get feedback on my work, so if my work is not up to par, then my group will let me know what to do better
    5. Lastly, working in a group also gives you motivation to work harder than your group, which is a key to success. =)

8. Some difficulties of working a group include:

1. Arguing over small things
2. Not being able to agree on anything
3. Un-constructive criticism
4. Having to divide work, but everyone is complaining on what they want/do not want.
5. Sometimes have to wait for others to finish before being able to move on, on a certain task

9.

My favorite picture from one person in my class would be Rudy Estrada's picture of the Lion Statue (Eugene Atget 2)

A little history...

10. My photographer was Eugene Atget, and he took multiple pictures of the street of paris. His pictures were always used by people when they want to go around Paris

11. Dorothy Lane's most popular photo was her Migrant Mother's photo. This photo was taken in 1936 in Nipomo,CA. She was in the Resettlement Administration

12. Life Magazine was published November 23rd 1936

13. Elvis was born January 8th 1935

14. Robert Kappa was the founder of Magnum Photos in 1947

This is a picture of a plain o'l Banana, but thanks to Photoshop, this Banana in particular looks like the album cover:

Masters of Photography Reflection

When I was first assigned the project I thought it was just a typical assignment used to test my capabilities but as I was doing it I felt like it inspired me as a student.

In the beginning of the school year, I didn't understand much about Digital Imaging/Photography. But as we were assigned more assignments, I got a better overview of Photography itself.

Some Benefits of working in a group included:

People giving you suggestions on your work (Critique)
Answering Questions you might have

Some Disadvantages included:
Arguing over things

I would have taken more pictures, and edited it more to look like my person's photos

Well, thats about it =)
